Invisalign
Invisalign is a cosmetic dentistry technique that straightens teeth using clear, nearly invisible aligners, applying gentle pressure to gradually correct their position without the need for traditional braces.
The treatment begins with a 3D scan of the teeth, which allows us to create a personalised simulation and show the patient a preview of their new smile. The aligners are comfortable, removable for eating and brushing, painless thanks to the thermoplastic material, and safe, with no risk of detachment like fixed braces.
Invisible and practical, they allow you to achieve a harmonious smile with predictable aesthetic results, combining comfort, precision and effectiveness in a discreet and modern process.

Sleep Disorders and Apnea
For the treatment of sleep disorders and sleep apnea, we rely on SomnoDent, an innovative and patented mandibular advancement, designed to ensure comfort and effectiveness in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.
Functioning like a mouthguard or bite, it gently holds the jaw in a forward position during sleep, freeing the airway at the pharynx and preventing the obstruction that causes these disorders.
Numerous clinical studies demonstrate its effectiveness, while ONIRIS® offers a personalized adjustment and true freedom of movement, ensuring a comfortable and safe adaptation for a more peaceful and restful sleep.
Hygiene and Prophylaxis Treatment
Taking care of your oral hygiene is essential to prevent cavities, gingivitis and other dental problems caused by plaque and tartar.
Every day, bacteria and food debris build up on your teeth. If not removed with a toothbrush and dental floss, they can harden into tartar and inflame your gums. To ensure a thorough and safe cleaning, it's important to regularly consult with our dental hygienists at our offices in Lugano and Tesserete. These highly qualified professionals can provide effective and painless hygiene and prophylaxis treatments.
We recommend having a check-up at least twice a year to remove tartar, prevent cavities, and keep your mouth healthy, clean and protected over time.

Conservative Dentistry
Conservative dental therapy allows for timely treatment of cavities and the prevention of other dental diseases. This branch of dentistry focuses on the removal of decay and subsequent reconstruction of the tooth, restoring the damaged tissue to its proper shape and function. Since decay is a degenerative disease that progressively erodes the tooth, prompt intervention is required to avoid complications. During conservative treatment, the dentist cleans the infected area, removes diseased tissue, and reconstructs the tooth with modern materials, quickly restoring its appearance and function, thus ensuring a healthy and long-lasting smile.
Endodontics
Endodontics, or root canal treatment, is the branch of dentistry that deals with the internal tissues of the tooth and their treatment. This procedure becomes necessary when the dental pulp becomes inflamed or infected, often due to untreated deep cavities, cracks, fractures or trauma, causing severe pain.
Endodontic therapy involves removing the inflamed tissue and filling the tooth with replacement materials, often followed by the application of a ceramic or Zirkonzahn crown to restore function and strength.
At Swiss Dental Clinic, we use advanced tools such as ultrasound, laser and electronic therapy for precise diagnoses and effective treatments, ensuring complete dental care and pain-free restoration of your smile.

Dental Veneers
Dental veneers are thin shells made of ceramic or materials similar to the natural color of the teeth, applied to the front teeth to correct defects in color, shape, or position, mask stains, spaces, orthodontic irregularities or chipped teeth, giving a whiter, more even and harmonious smile.
Custom-made from an impression of the patient's teeth, they are applied in one or more sessions and offer long-lasting aesthetic and functional results. Ceramic is the most commonly used material, thanks to its strength and natural colour.
To ensure long-lasting results and maintain the optimal appearance of your smile, veneers should be treated like natural teeth, with daily oral hygiene and constant care: if well maintained, they can last over 20 years.
Tooth Diamonds
This isn't just a simple diamond: at our clinic, we can set a pure diamond directly into your tooth, making your smile radiant and beautiful. Thanks to a specialised technique, the diamond is securely positioned, without any tactile bumps and without risk to the enamel, unlike common DIY applications or traditional bonding.
The result is a smile illuminated by a unique glow, amplified by the diamond's natural reflectivity, which captures light with an intensity impossible to achieve with ordinary diamonds. This exclusive technique allows you to make your smile elegant, seductive and completely confident, enhancing your beauty with a touch of discreet and refined luxury.

Dental Orthodontics
We correct misaligned teeth with personalised orthodontic treatments and the best equipment available, from traditional fixed or removable braces to modern Invisalign technology.
Orthodontics aims to restore teeth to their correct position, improving both the functionality and aesthetics of your smile. After a thorough diagnosis based on plaster models, x-rays and photographs, our staff determines the most appropriate treatment plan.
The active phase of treatment involves the use of appliances that gradually move the teeth, while the passive phase stabilises the result with retainers or removable devices. Fixed appliances are indicated in more complex cases for continuous action, while removable appliances are used in less complex cases or as support during the various phases of treatment.
Invisalign, on the other hand, allows you to correct your teeth discreetly and comfortably with clear aligners replaced every two weeks, planned using computerised technologies to ensure precise and progressive tooth movements.
Oral Surgery and Implantology
Oral surgery deals with dental problems requiring surgical intervention, including extractions, root canal treatments, implantology and periodontology.
Periodontics treats gum diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis, which affect a large portion of the adult population and can lead to tooth loss if not treated promptly. Implantology, on the other hand, allows missing teeth to be replaced with artificial roots made of biocompatible titanium, anchored to the bone to support single or multiple dentures, offering a stable, natural and long-lasting solution compared to traditional dentures.
Before each procedure, we assess the patient's bone health and general condition to ensure safety and effectiveness, planning the most appropriate treatment. Oral surgery not only restores chewing function, but also significantly contributes to overall well-being and the aesthetics of the smile.

Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is the ideal treatment for eliminating discolorations and restoring teeth to their natural color, even when they are healthy but have lost their original shine.
Thanks to professional techniques such as laser whitening, which uses laser-activated hydrogen peroxide gel, it is possible to remove stains and yellowing caused by diet, smoking or aging safely, effectively and long-lastingly, much more precisely than do-it-yourself remedies.
The process begins with a professional cleaning and enamel analysis, followed by a whitening session. To maintain the results, a home treatment with customised gel and custom-made trays is also available.
In about 1.5 hours, you can achieve a bright, white smile, enhancing the natural aesthetics and health of your teeth, with immediately visible and long-lasting results.
